Song for Friday...a legend

Apparently we're going to a concert in the city tonight.
A rare outing for us home bodies.
Tickets were purchased.
A room has been booked.
Time to put on some city clothes.
We will be seeing a blues legend.
Johnny Winter.
I don't really know his music but I do know he's a tattooed albino.
It's definitely not a choice I would have made but Lord knows I've dragged Tom along to enough chick, folky, harmonizing, girly acts.
So 'Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo'!

It sounds like you're going to have a great time - even if it's just the 'getting away" part!
I love Johnny Winters' music, but just don't hold your breath waiting to hear Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo... I hear he's concentrating mainly on Blues nowadays.

Have fun!!

Referencing older posts, but first from your lists: PEACE LIKE A RIVER, IN BRUGE and Jerry Jeff Walker. I like to find places where we who blog overlap. Your bottle stoppers, crockery and broken glass remind me of childhood digging in California ghost towns. Such remnants can be made into mosaics or stories or dreams of Tuscany. The discovery of others who keep these electronic journals is armchair travel, a bit of window-peeping and a view of the world in wide-angle, enhanced by thumbnail sketches of the smaller moments. I loved your apples.
