Sonnet to an apple...

Give me your ripe...
 Your red...
your huddled masses yearning to be eaten...
Your fallen...
...and puckered souls...
Let me feast my eyes on your cobwebbed beauty...
...and seek out your hidden bounty...
Fear not, because they will be devoured by a healthy, loving appetite...
Only to seek more of yee!
