Song for Friday...thoughtfulness

I guess, to be honest, I'm having a 'sad' week.
Thoughts of my sister come and go and some days they are more coming than going.
With the holiday season approaching, her 2nd born's birthday
being on Christmas day, well it all comes to settle deep in my thoughts and heart.
Some songs remind me of our childhood together, the late '60s and early '70s.
This is one of those songs that puts me in mind of  days gone by.
Hope you all have a great weekend, hug those you love and think of those who you can't be near to.

I'm having a sad day too. This Christmas is bound to be difficult for you and for your family. Don't be surprised though if you find that great warmth and love abounds. Love does not die.

I am thinking of you and wishing you well. xxx

I am so sorry. As tough as this season can be, I agree with @acornmoon that love abounds right now.

Sending big hugs your way.

p.s. Just saw Jeremy on Etsy. In love.

Tempered joy, bittersweet, how we are able to be both 'this' and 'that' in the same moment. For me, song, like scent, takes me at once to another place. Realizing this is a place you haven't been before allows for going slowly, taking stock. My wishes are with you all and agree, love abounds. xo
