For all who are curious... this is inside the Fan Tan Trading Company. You enter from one street and the back door (in the picture) leads you into Fan Tan Alley. The alley is famous for being (supposedly) the most narrow street in Canada and once was home to gambling joints, opium dens and brothels. White people were not very welcome here and were quite afraid to go near it in the early 1900's. So much for Wordless Wednesday hey??!
It's always been a favorite place of mine and the kids absoloutely love this shop.

I guessed that this was an Asian shop, then I read your comment.
It's intriguing! Your photo draws me into the semi darkness filled with so many interesting things but that you turned around and took the photo toward the door and the outside is genus. Makes it a much more interesting photo for the direction of focus.
