Song for Friday...to all you chicken farmers...

This year is the first year in 12 years that we haven't had any chickens.
The year before last , minks killed most of them and then last year
all of our new flock were wiped out by a disease.
So we decided to take a break from egg farming this summer
but oh how I miss them.
The clucking, the excellent compost they give, the eggs,
the good use they make of leftovers.
Just having them around in general.
So I dedicate this weeks songs to all you lovers of chickens.
Have a great weekend all!

I'm sorry that your luck with chickens hasn't been very good. Clean out that coop really well and maybe next year you can try again.
Loved the chicken video. It gave me a laugh.
The photo is beautiful!
