How I spent my summer vacation...

I feel that I have so many photos of what I did this summer
but so much time has passed by without writing about each and every one.
I think a plethora of highlights is in order.
Then I shall start anew as fall whispers in our ears...
summer was lost to...
picking flowers...

high fields by the river...
 always walks with the dogs...
 finding time to create...
 finding time to study
revelling in public art...giant troll consuming a VW in Fremont district, Seattle
seeing how others create...with gum...
this whole wall 'gummed up' by the thousands!
(I even found this one for Ciara over at Milkmoon!)
with cameras...
 with glass!
Amazing Dale Chahully exhibit in Seattle...
heat wave excursions in the Southern Gulf Islands...

celebrating!...
 Happy days at the fair!...
a four legged friend with the same birthday!
pig races under way!...
whew! I need a rest now!

Wow! Wonderful pictures and some magnificent memories. And you were BUSY! Pig races. :) What fun. And painting and walks with the dog. Awesome ways to spend all those summer days. But don't you feel, in a way, that summer has just begun? Time flies.. that's for sure...

Oh and PS ... so jealous of the Chahuly show! (Even though I think I might have botched the spelling!)
