Looks like it was doing really well and then drank some nectar from a flower or something. The middle of the web is so different that the perfect outer part. There must be a reason for that. Great photos. (Glad it's inside the photo and not that close to me.)

Beautiful web ... but I think i'd freak out a little if I walked into that spider. Little ones? No big. Big brown ones? ahhhhhhhhhhh!
