Song for Friday...some sweet harmony

The other night Tom and I went to see a concert at the
beautiful Alix Goolden Hall.

(archive of Sarah Harmer playing here)
I've blogged about this place a few times and
it never disappoints.
It's an old Anglican church turned concert hall,
filled with gorgeous stained glass windows,
cast iron balcony rails and a massive pipe organ.
On this night we went to see a comeback of
The Be Good Tanyas who haven't performed
 together in 3 years.
It was a real treat to hear their lovely harmonies again
and so here's a little ditty for you...
This song was written by Frazzie Ford (one of the Be Goods) about her
childhood in a Doukabour community in B.C.
Have a pretty  weekend all.

  1. Beautiful place to hear music! It looks large, yet quite intimate.. :)
