This news story took over the media when the murder happened and 23 years later, when the accused was finally set free...seems appropriate that the Tragically Hip would take it on and turn it into an iconic song for Canada and the rest of those innocents, jailed for crimes not committed.

Social commentary through song of the week...must try that!! I remember when the Guilford Four were released from prison and how that made me feel...an I also remember mentioning it to someone a lot young than me only to be met by blank stares!! Injustices like these should never be forgotten and if it takes a simple song to resurrect the truth...play on!!
