The other night I watched the movie "Duets".
It's sort of like male Thelma and Louise meets Karaoke night.
It was quite dark actually and I was a bit taken aback.
But there were some funny bits and some good singing in it.
One of the storylines is that of Gwenyth Paltrow
and Huey Lewis as estranged father and daughter.
They end up singing this song but I must say I prefer the original
by Smokie Robinson, although they did a good job too.
It gives me that A M radio summer feeling...transister radios by the water,
no cares in the world except how much more of a tan you'll get that day.
So here's to summer dreams...
Have a great weekend all!

you can't go wrong at waters edge.
Say, farmlass, what a great Friday song. Oh, do I ever remember that summer feeling of being at the lake, listening to the radio, and working on that bronze tan!
Beautiful photo!
That version of the song used to play on the radio ALL THE TIME when I was 16 years old and working in a seedy Chinese food restaurant. I will always associate that song with that time, haha!
M.
In my next life I am coming back as his super groovy backup singer. I'm ready for the dress and headband! She's so hot. I would actually ridiculous. :)
So awesome. Shared the song on Facebook. :)
