For my birthday last month I received a big bunch of my favourite flowers...tulips.
Just tulips...simple, elegant, botanically ancient and oh so photogenic...
So off I went with a shutterbugs enthusiasm.
I started playing with filters and adjusting the contrast, the shadows, the highlights...
...then the sepia, black and white and fade filters came on board...
I love the antique feel of these ones...
...a gift that kept on giving!

They're beautiful! Tulips are a favorite of mine too. Especially the pink and the yellow. Lovely photos. I can feel the softness of the petals in the pics!
Oh ... I love tulips. So delicate, fragile and graceful ... great pics.
